'Arquitecturas de aire' by Javier Bravo.

The exhibition 'Arquitecturas de aire' takes place at CAB of Burgos between July 10th and September 20th. The cover of glass and steel by Norman Foster for the central courtyard of the British Museum in London or the reddish concrete cube by Saénz de Oiza in Alzuza are some of the focus of this exhibition by photographer Javier Bravo, where they are presented in large format.

'Arquitecturas de aire' gives expression to the loneliness that man perceives when he enters into spaces conceived as a magnificent whole, designed and executed by men but where human beings become secondary characters.

7 Reinterpretations of Jacobsen's Series 7™ chair.

Fritz Hansen invited 7 'cool' architects to reinterpret its best-selling chair, with over 5 million copies, Arne Jacobsen's model 3107 chair, more known as Series 7™ chair, in its 60th anniversary. They will be in an exhibition which will travel around the world.

Jacobsen did not design this chair for a specific project, like he did with another of his famous chair, which has allowed to reinterpret and adapt it at different times. This chair gained its fame thanks to a protrait by Lewis Morley to the model Christine Keele.

Snarkitecture’s The Beach is a giant pit of a million plastic balls has taken over the National Building Museum in Washington DC, creating a synthetic seaside inside the 19th-century building’s Great Hall, which rises 159 feet (48 metres) and is supported by eight colossal Corinthian columns, in the National Building Museum.

AMO designed 90s-style Nightclub in Paris for Miu Miu

José Tono Martínez, CentroCentro Cibeles director; María García Yelo, PHotoEspaña director and Francisco Hortiguela, Director of Samsung's Institutional Relations, Communication and Corporate Citizenship, inaugurated last June 23rd the exhibition 'Madrid 24 h' in CentroCentro Cibeles. A day in Madrid's life, a group exhibition of photographs that comes from the homonym online contest organized by PHotoEspaña and Samsung, with the participation of the City of Madrid.

Yannis Karpouzis, Descubrimientos PHE15 Award.

PHotoEspaña, along with a jury of international experts in photography, has awarded the Descubrimientos PHE15 Award to the Greek photographer Yannis Karpouzis for his series "The parallel crisis" (2010). A work in progress that explores photography and the crisis in Greece, his native country, as factors that stop the time. The series shows portraits contextualized in the landscape that reveal strength and contrasts. Characters and locations that give a feeling of unease.
