In the context of the 34th World Expo opening in Milan this spring, Het Nieuwe Instituut addresses this phenomenon from different perspectives between April 26 and August 23. The exhibition What is the Netherlands shows how the Dutch entries to the World Expo have always been the result of collaborations between government, industry, designers and artists.

Sun/Moon, An investigation of color field perception and optical phenomena, is the new enigmatic and conflicting display by the American artist, collecting a series of sketches and studies from his works, exploring the optical phenomena related to color fields.

Since today and until the 8th of May, the new Nicholas Woods exhibition is open, at the Space _2B, belonging to the Moneo Brock Studio, parallel to another display, La Isla, held at the Slowtrack Galery.

We will have the possibility, in the Nunnery Galery, of seeing Sarah Pucill's movie on Cahun's work, with extracts selected of the book Aveux Not Avenus. It will be a great one opportunity for the lovers of the work of these artists because of a part of the exposed material will be shown in London for the first time.



The MET Expands its Program with Launch of The Met Breuer in March 2016

For the first time in Spain, the Juan March Foundation presents an exhibition about the so-called "last overall style" of history, art deco. The exhibition brings us more than three hundred fifty pieces of very different kinds, from paintings to magazines through perfume among others. It combines reconstructions and recreations that testify to the modern taste and air of a time as hard to grasp as present in our contemporary culture time.

The exhibition Modern Taste. Art Deco in Paris, 1910-1935 will be on display in Madrid at the Fundación Juan March between 26 March and 28 June. Finding an artist. Nicolás de Lekula

The Guillermo de Osma Gallery presents a Nicolás de Lekuona’s artist production overview (Ordicia, 1913 – Fruniz, Vizcaya, 1937) through seventy works, which go from revolutionary photographs to photomontage, collage, photography and plastic work of art.

The Guillermo de Osma Gallery inaugurate this Thursday 9th of April, an exhibition of the artist Nicolás de Lekuona (1913-1937), who died during the Spanish Civil War, with only 24 years old . 60 works will be showed: oil paintings, drawings, collages in addition to photographs and photomontages, that the family puts on the market for first time.

Matadero de Madrid goes to Paris with DO!DISTURB.

The first edition of DO!DISTURB, international festival of visual and performing arts, will take place at the Palais de Tokyo, Paris, next April 10, 11 and 12, and will feature Matadero Madrid together with other institutions worldwide known as the MoMA PS1, Tate Modern, the Centre National des Arts Plastiques and Le FRAC Lorrain.

Six selected artists from the Matadero Madrid will participate on the first DO!DISTURB edition at the Palais de Tokyo, Paris.
