In 2005, Bjarke Ingels opened his own office, Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), after having co-founded PLOT Architects in 2001 and collaborated with Rem Koolhaas in OMA. These projects include the House of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Ørestad and the new Danish National Maritime Museum in Elsinore, hotel projects in Norway, a skyscraper designed in the shape of Chinese character for the "people" of Shanghai, a master plan for reconstruction from an old naval base and industry páramo oil in a complex with zero entertainment emissions from the coastal city of Baku, Azerbaijan, in the form of the country's seven mountains, and a museum overlooking Mexico City .
