PAOLO ZERMANI

Paolo Zermani, born in 1958, is a Professor of Architectural Composition at the Faculty of Architecture in Florence and a Professor of Master Churches Construction at the Theological Faculty of Central Italy in Florence.

He is the founder and coordinator of the conference “Identity of Italian Architecture”. He was, from 1990 to 2000, Executive Director of the international architecture magazine “Materia”. He held a conference and exhibitions in Marseille, Paris, Lisbon, Nancy, London, Warsaw, Athens, Arc et Senans, Strasbourg, and New York. He was invited to the Venice Architecture Biennale in 1991, 1992, and 1996 and to the Milan Triennale in 1995, and 2003. In 2004 The Space Gallery in New York organized the exhibition “Paolo Zermani. Architecture in the Italian Landscape”. Since 2008, he has been a member of the Accademia Nazionale di S. Luca in Rome.
