F5 proyectos y arquitectura

F5 Proyectos y Arquitectura is an architecture studio founded in 2016 and co-directed by Juan Tomás Ortega García, Jorge Alonso Nicieza, and Nacho Cabal Palicio, based in Oviedo, Spain.

It places innovation at the heart of its professional practice. Its work focuses on exploring new residential models, such as cohousing, and developing its own industrialized systems. Its philosophy is based on channelling the team's creativity and technical excellence toward collective well-being, generating efficient, sustainable, and profoundly human architectural solutions.

In 2021, it launched INVERNADERO cowork as a multidisciplinary workspace and meeting place that reinforces and supports these processes.

Notable Projects:
- Renovation of the Old School of Commerce in Gijón_1st COAA Building Award (2018).
- “Axuntase” Collaborative Housing Cooperative in Llanera.
- “Quintana 16” Residential Building_Finalist, COAA Asturias Award (2023).
- Renovation and Extension of a Single-Family Home in Gijón_Finalist, COAA Asturias Award (2025).
- “BIG FISH” Single-Family Home in Cadavedo_Special Asturiana de Zinc Award from ATEG (2026).

Currently, the studio is promoting collective housing projects through its own cooperative management company and continues the development of the NHouses system for the design and production of industrialized housing.
