Michael Kiwanuka wasn’t reaching for subtlety when he named his track “Black Man in a White World.” Music is all about self-expression, but on the single, which is the first from Kiwanuka’s just announced album Love & Hate, he sings “I’ve got nothing left to say”—a declaration tinged with irony as the chorus comes on and Kiwanuka repeats over and over “I’m a black man in a white world.” Michael Kiwanuka no quería ser sutil cuando tituló a su tema "Hombre Negro en un Mundo Blanco." La música es auto-expresión, pero en el single, que es el primero del álbum que se acaba de anunciar por Kiwanuka, Love & Hate, canta "no tengo nada más que decir", una declaración teñida de ironía con un coro que repite una y otra vez "soy un hombre negro en un mundo blanco."
