Distopía en la luna. Four Out Of Five por Arctic Monkeys

Four Out Of Five es una de las canciones del último lanzamiento de la banda británica Arctic Monkeys. El nombre del álbum, Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino, es un homenaje al lugar de aterrizaje del Apollo 11 que Neil Armstrong y Buzz Aldrin bautizaron como Tranquility Base.

El vídeo musical de Four Out Of Five fue dirigido por Ben Chappell y Aaron Brown, y muestra el proyecto del hotel-casino que la banda construye en la luna, en el cual se desarrollan otras canciones del álbum. Fue lanzado el 13 de mayo de 2018, y se rodó en lugares tan diferentes como el Castillo Howard en Yorkshire, lugar de origen de la banda, o el metro de Marienplatz en Múnich.

Para la creación del vídeo de Arctic Monkeys, según comentan Ben Chappell y Aaron Brown, quisieron inspirarse en el estilo de los largometrajes de Stanley Kubrick, mostrando ese contraste entre la arquitectura barroca del Castillo Howard y la visión distópica espacial que ofrecen los túneles del metro de Múnich.

La letra de Four Out Of Five es un símil a la promoción que realizaría la empresa creadora del hotel casino en la luna, y en el vídeo se muestra al vocalista de la banda, Alex Turner, revisando el proyecto a través de algunos planos y maquetas del hotel, así como manipulando lo que parecen algunos vídeos promocionales de la empresa. Además, la canción menciona que la tierra se está aburguesando tras el éxodo a la luna, de manera que resulta una comparación y crítica de la gentrificación que se está produciendo en los centros urbanos, obligando a muchos ciudadanos a migrar a los barrios de la periferia.
