Doce años después del lanzamiento de su último álbum, la banda noruega Kings of Convenience ha lanzado el álbum Peace or Love en junio de 2021. El sencillo Rocky Trail es la nueva obra maestra del duo con su conmovedora y cálida melodía.
Rocky Trail nos transporta a un espacio alegre, con guitarras acústicas hábilmente escogidas e intrincadas. El contenido detrás de la canción muestra dilemas existenciales y habla de asuntos emocionales de un modo bastante sutil.

El video de Kings of Convenience, producido por Valentina Attalla, está ambientado en la casa/ estudio de la artista Clara Cebrian en Madrid. El proyecto, de la arquitecta española Pia Mendaro Lamberri, es una rehabilitación de un antiguo almacén llamado Topo’s Shed. La producción explora los espacios del estudio y encuentra una nueva forma de capturar todo el arte del loft.
La dupla, conformada por Erlend Øye y Eirik Glambek, visitará España en el próximo mes de octubre. Estarán el 18 en el Teatro Lope de Vega de Madrid, el 19 en La Rambleta de València y el 21 en L'Auditori de Barcelona.

Pia Mendaro Larramendi
Pía Mendaro (Madrid, 1991) graduated as an architect at Superior Technical School of Architecture Madrid, ETSAM (2009-2016). She’s currently working freelance and is a member of Endemico, a young architecture studio. She’s impatient with architecture’s timing, hence designing (and self-producing) furniture and studying botany and gardening in the meantime. For the last three years she has completed various refurbishments in Madrid, designed the furniture for a children's library in Monterrey (Mexico), participated as a teacher assistant in studio class (Polytechnic School Madrid), and led the direction (and management) of Barbecho space, focused on useful design (2017-19). At present, Pia has several works and a PhD thesis in progress.
Architecture awards: Schindler Architecture Award 2013/2014 for mobility / accessibility solutions (2013). Obtaining Honors in the Final Degree Project, ETSAM (2016). Finalist of the Young Talent Architecture Award (YTAA) of the Mies van der Rohe Foundation, (2016). Others: Junior designer for The Architecture Gallery, TAG, Madrid (2017), participation in the collective exhibition Mujer, Objeto (“Woman, Object”), Madrid (2018).
