Vasco Mourão nació en Tomar, Portugal, en 1979. También conocido como Mister Mourão, es arquitecto, ilustrador y artista portugués. Tras formarse y trabajar en el ámbito de la arquitectura, orientó su carrera hacia el dibujo y las artes visuales. Su obra se caracteriza por composiciones urbanas minuciosas, realizadas principalmente con tinta negra, en las que combina edificios reales e imaginarios, perspectivas imposibles y estructuras de gran complejidad. Trabaja sobre papel, madera, piedra, metal y muros.
Mourão ha desarrollado ilustraciones y encargos para publicaciones y empresas internacionales como The New Yorker, The Washington Post y Apple. Su trabajo se ha expuesto en Europa, Estados Unidos, Hong Kong y Japón. Actualmente desarrolla su actividad entre Barcelona y la isla portuguesa de Pico.

After training and working in architecture, he gradually shifted his career towards drawing and the visual arts. His work is distinguished by highly detailed urban compositions, created mainly in black ink, in which he combines real and imaginary buildings, impossible perspectives, and intricately layered structures. He works on a wide range of surfaces, including paper, wood, stone, metal, and walls.
Mourão has produced illustrations and commissioned work for internationally renowned publications and companies such as The New Yorker, The Washington Post, and Apple. His work has been exhibited across Europe, the United States, Hong Kong, and Japan. He currently divides his time and artistic practice between Barcelona and the Portuguese island of Pico.
