Tejedor

Eduardo Alonso Tejedor (Alba de Tormes, Salamanca, 2003) is an architect who graduated from the University of Granada (2026), where he is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Architecture. He began his studies at the University of Valladolid, but following an exchange period, he decided to settle in the Andalusian city—an urban and academic environment that has profoundly influenced his vision of the profession.

His architectural approach is rooted in heritage, with a particular emphasis on the value of memory as a driving force for design. He advocates for a practice grounded in rigor and phenomenology, where the sensory experience of space, materiality, and light takes center stage—an architecture that engages honestly with existing structures, aiming to recontextualize places.

At just 23 years old, he recently gained recognition within the professional sphere by winning First Prize in the International Ideas Competition for the Protection of the Temple of Debod. The jury selected his proposal, acknowledging a fresh, sensitive vision that succeeded in surpassing entries from long-established firms, such as Estudio Lamela.
