Archermit is an architecture design studio founded in 2015 by Youcai Pan. The practice is led by Youcai Pan (Founder / Chief Architect), Renzhen Chen (Partner / Creation Architect), and Zhe Yang (Partner / Design Director). The studio's work is characterized by the pursuit of architecture that is sensitive to context and landscape, seeking a dialogue between tradition and contemporaneity. Archermit has established itself as an innovative studio in China, with projects that integrate local techniques, natural materials, and a cultural conception linked to Sichuan.
Youcai Pan (b. Gulin, Sichuan, China, 1987) is an architect from the Art College of Sichuan University. He is the founder and principal architect of Archermit, established in April 2015 in Chengdu, Sichuan. His awards include: "Bamboo Branch Academy" BLT Awards – Jury's Favorite in Architectural Design (Recreational); The Woyun Platform project won a Gold A' Design Award in the "Architecture, Building and Structure Design" category.
