Nuno Azevedo and Vitor Oliveira founded Artequitectos in 1998 in the city of Guimarães, Portugal.
They develop projects in areas of varying scales and complexity. Their architectural practice seeks to reveal formal simplicity and a close relationship with the local context, attending to the client's needs and expectations.
From the initial concept, through the development of the project, to its materialization in the finished work (furniture, lighting, and interior architecture), their profound dedication guides the success of their projects.
Aware that construction is as important as the creative process, they believe that once built, the architectural work becomes part of the identity of those who inhabit or use it.
