Atelier tao+c was established by Tao Liu and Chunyan Cai in 2016. Atelier tao+c works with a wide range of scales and programs. Parallel with the practical works, the office has been involved with research and teaching, focusing on subjects such as the revival of old buildings and objects in the domestic landscape.
Their projects are executed with humble and ordinary materials. The practice seeks to explore the everyday life beauty, pick up the evocative clues, rediscover values hidden in simplicity and allow life to unfold to us all its complexities.
