Bangkok Tokyo Architecture
Bangkok Tokyo Architecture is an architectural practice founded by Wtanya Chanvitan and Takahiro Kume in 2017.
Fascinated by open structures and the thoughtful assembly of everyday elements, blurring the lines between the ordinary and the exceptional. Their practice explores ways to liberate architecture from the realm of experts and professionals, to discover potential models of sustainability.
Wtanya received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from King Mongkut's Thonburi University of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand, and a Master of Architecture degree from Musashino University of the Arts, Tokyo, Japan. He has taught at the School of Architecture and Design at King Mongkut's Thonburi University of Technology. Currently, he teaches at the International Design and Architecture Program at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok.
Takahiro holds a bachelor's and master's degree in Architecture from Ritsumeikan University. He has experience working in various offices in Japan. He has taught at Tokyo University of Science and the School of Architecture and Design at King Mongkut University of Technology, Thonburi. Currently, he teaches at the International Design and Architecture Program at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok.
