David Barro (Ferrol, 1974). Director of the DIDAC Foundation and curator of exhibitions. Previously, he has held the following functions, among others: Founder and director of the DARDOmagazine, managing director of the Luis Seoane Foundation, advisor to the Barrié Foundation and head of its contemporary painting collection.
As curator of exhibitions, he has made more than 50 individual exhibitions by authors such as Jessica Stockholder, Axel Hütte, Alex Katz, Günther Förg, Julião Sarmento, Julian Opie, Sandra Cinto, Caio Reisewitz, José Pedro Croft, Berta Cáccamo ...) and more of 50 collective samples.
In 2010 he served as artistic director of the art, architecture and design project Look Up! Natural Porto Art Show that occupied 9 emblematic buildings of the city of Porto. Founding member of the first two boards of directors of the IAC, he is currently a member of the board of directors of ADACE.
