Bauart studio is an architectural firm created in 2013, in Barcelona. It was founded by Alberto Collet and Stefan Juhasz.
Alberto Collet, was born in Conegliano, Italy, 1981 and studied at the Faculty of Architecture at the IUAV in Venice and at the ETSAB in Barcelona, graduating cum laude. He completed postgraduate studies in Urban Design at the Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences ARSNOVA Siena. He has a Master's degree in Urban Management and Architectural Design at the Domus Academy in Milan, Italy and the University of Wales, Cardiff, United Kingdom. He has a Master's degree in Theory and Practice of Architecture from the UPC Universitat Pólitecnica de Catalunya, Barcelona. PostMaster in Architecture, infrastructure and Incremental Hosing for Crisis at the Universidade of Beira Interior Covilha, Portugal. PhD candidate at the FAUP at the Faculty of Architecture of the Universidade do Porto, Portugal.
He has collaborated and taught project workshops at different European and Latin American universities. He has been a tutor at the Architecture and Landscape Workshop at RCR Arquitectes. He has worked in different architectural studios in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Malta and Argentina. He is co-founder of Bauart studio and coordinator of AAP Alternative Academic Project, a laboratory for innovative projects applied to public and private entities. He is currently a professor in different disciplines at LCI Barcelona and in architectural design at the Politecnico di Milano.
Stefan Juhasz is an architect that studied Civil Engineering and Architecture at the RWTH Aachen (Aachen, Germany) and graduated at the ETSAB Escola Técnica Superior d’Arquitectura de Barcelona (Barcelona, Spain).
Since then he has worked for different architectural offices in the Barcelona and Germany. He is head of the creative department in a renowned audiovisual design firm. He participated in several museum and exhibition projects such as The National Museum of Qatar (in collaboration with Ateliers Jean Nouvel), The Spain Pavilion at Expo Dubai, and The Archaeology Museum of Catalonia Empúries.
