Blaising Borchardt Studio
Blaising Borchardt Studio is an architecture and design practice based in Paris, founded by Quentin Blaising and Alicia Borchardt in 2023. A practice where every project emerges from a unique dialogue between place, memory, and people. Their work is rooted in a rigorous contextual analysis and an inventive exploration of materials, seeking to unlock the latent potential of each site. The studio delivers bespoke architectural responses – unexpected, yet inevitable – deeply endemic to their environment. Operating across all scales and program types, Blaising Borchardt Studio pursues a singular ambition: to craft sustainable, meaningful architecture where every gesture and every detail resonates with purpose.
Some of the studio's notable projects include "L’escale”, in Tréauville, Normandy – a hiker’s stop and convivial gathering space. “By the Rock” consists of a rehabilitation of a barn into collective housing in Villaroger, Savoie. And “Wicker Wallscape” is an award-winning proposal for the international competition organized by the Mies van der Rohe Foundation, redesigning one of ten blind walls as part of Barcelona 2026, UNESCO World Capital of Architecture.
