Bonnin
Philippe Bonnin is an architect and anthropologist, specialist in Japan, emeritus director of research at the CNRS.
Author of numerous publications on Architecture and housing, he has recently published: La beauté du seuil: esthétique japonaise de la limite (ed. CNRS), Une estrade pour contempler la lune, (ed. Arléa).
He received the grand prize from the Academy of Architecture for Vocabulaire de la spatialité japonaise. He has also received the R.Pechere prize and the JP-J Redouté prize for Katsura et ses jardins, un mythe de l’architecture japonaise. (reissue: Eloge d’un jardin japonais).
