COA arquitectura. Architecture studio founded by Francisco Gutiérrez in January 2013 established in Guadalajara, Mexico. Trained in the local tradition of how to think, live and build architecture. For them, the idea and how to build it are worked on in parallel, so the material and the construction system base the project.
The origin of its proposal is in the understanding of the value of history and heritage to understand the present and give it meaning, the interest in construction, and the ethics of the trade. They look for an architecture that is committed and in relation to history, with pre-existences, with the inhabitants, with the trade and its construction.
