García Floquet Architects is an architecture practice founded by Frédéric John Floquet and Mónica García in 2003 in Valencia, when they decided to take their previas experiences and establish the bases of a common project. Its sector is inscribed in the problems of the contemporary world, of the places and “constructed landscapes” that configure the living space. Its project thinking focuses on the economy of the media, which considers it the basis of a “sustainable” approximation to the environment.
The scope of our projects in France and Spain responds fundamentally to programs of public equipment (dominio escolar y sanitario) and colectivo housing. These are some of the multi-family homes that were selected in the X and in the XI Bienal Española de Arquitectura y Urbanismo.
