GRACE is an international studio of architecture, design, urbanism and research, based in Milan and Moscow, founded in 2016, by the architects Ekaterina Golovatyuk and Giacomo Cantoni.
Ekaterina Golovatyuk is a Russian architect and researcher, born in the city of Dubna, who studied architecture in Delft, Madrid and Milan, graduating in 2003. Among her work experience, she collaborated with OMA/AMO, focusing on cultural and research projects in Russia, Europe and Hong Kong. On behalf of OMA, she was directly responsible for the design and realization of the Garage Museum for Contemporary Art in Moscow. She was part of the Scientific Committee of “Matera 2019” Cultural Capital and has advised private and state cultural institutions in Russia, Central Asia, UK and Italy.
Giacomo Cantoni graduated in Architecture and Landscape Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano in 2007 and completed a master's degree in landscape architecture at the same school in 2010. Giacomo worked at OMA on cultural and educational projects in Europe and Russia, and collaborated with Stefano Boeri Architetti and Multiplicity.lab in Milan. His research and design projects have been exhibited at Salone del Mobile in Milan and at the 14th. International Architecture Biennale in Venice.
