Since 2001, it has developed projects of varying scope and scale, providing it with extensive experience and adaptability to the diverse requests received over the years.
Since 2010, building rehabilitation has been one of its main areas of expertise, including the restoration and maintenance project of the former Porto prison (2013-2016), a building now classified as a National Monument; the rehabilitation of the Académico Futebol Clube bar (2015) in the former Palacete do Lima, headquarters of this club, one of the oldest sports clubs in the city of Porto; and the rehabilitation of the Carcavelos residential complex in Matosinhos (2017-2022).
In the field of rehabilitation, notable achievements include second prize in the competition for the rehabilitation project of the tropical greenhouses at the Botanical Garden of the University of Coimbra (2011) and, more recently, first prize for the expansion project of the Civil Engineering Department building at the University of Coimbra's Polo II campus (2019). In the area of design, highlights include first prize in the National Furniture Design Competition promoted by AIMMP, in the "Everyday Design" category, with the "Starp System" project (2010), and, as a co-author, first prize in the design competition for the development of two water bottles, promoted by Águas do Porto, E M. (2015).
The name Impare suggests something peculiar, something that cannot be divided in two, something uneven, and simultaneously, the opposite of inertia [in + pare], that is, movement.
