David Lawrence is the Managing Director of Flanagan Lawrence and, as well as running the business, leads teams on a diverse range of projects, including residential developments located mainly in Central London, high-profile office developments and city centre masterplans.
Having studied architecture at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, David has worked in London since 1986.
David’s residential experience has been focused primarily in London and he understands the needs of a very demanding and competitive market. He has led teams to deliver a range of bespoke buildings in Central London as well as large scale schemes in regeneration areas.
David has been involved with major regeneration schemes at Wembley, Greenwich, Manchester and Salford, where the masterplanning of brownfield areas is key to delivering the new communities and economic growth emerging from a changing British society.
Having delivered a range of high end residential buildings at Chelsea Wharf, Montpelier Hall in Knightsbridge and apartments at 21 Manresa Road, Basil Street, and a Grade 1 Listed apartment overlooking Regents Park, David is currently leading teams working on major residential schemes in Victoria and Belgravia as well as delivering one-off apartments in Chelsea, a house in Belgravia, an apartment building in Knightsbridge and large scale buildings in regeneration areas.
His experience of delivering office buildings is extensive, ranging from large scale urban regeneration developments, to infill new build in historic locations, to campus schemes around the Country. Current projects being delivered include 10 Hammersmith Grove, 18-20 Grosvenor Street and Embankment, Greengate in Salford. He was part of the panel that developed the BCO Guide to specification 2009.
