Lütjens Padmanabhan Architekt*innen
Oliver Lütjens (Zurich, 1972) and Thomas Padmanabhan (Stuttgart, 1970) founded Lütjens Padmanabhan Architects in 2007 in Zurich. The studio has been recognized nationally and internationally for its innovation in affordable housing and its commitment to the expressive challenges of contemporary construction.
Their works address different scales and typologies, and span three continents. Recent projects include the award-winning Waldmeisterweg affordable apartment building in Zurich, the Zwhatt sufficiency housing project in Regensdorf, the Unterfeld Lake Power Plant, the Göbli residential complex in Baar, and the Swiss ambassadorial residences in Algiers and Bogotá.
Oliver and Thomas have taught as assistant professors at the ETH Zurich and as visiting professors at the TU Munich, the EPF Lausanne, and the GSD Harvard. They are currently visiting professors at the ETH Zurich.
