Tatsuo Miyajima (Tokyo, 1957) is a Japanese artist whose work revolves around time, existence, and the relationships between individuals. Since the late 1980s, he has developed installations with continuously changing LED counters, transforming technology into a medium for reflecting on life, death, and constant change. His work has been exhibited in museums, galleries, and biennials worldwide, establishing him as one of the leading figures in contemporary Japanese art.
