PAN Associati
PAN Associati is an architecture and landscape practice founded in Milan in 2001 by Gaetano Selleri, Benedetto Selleri and Giovanni Sanesi. Today, the studio is led by architect Gaetano Selleri and Benedetto Selleri, PhD in Forestry Sciences, and brings together expertise in architecture, landscape architecture, agronomy, forestry and engineering. Its work also builds on the professional legacy of architect Raffaele Selleri, who has been active in Milan since the 1960s.
The practice works across architecture, landscape, urbanism and territorial planning, with a particular focus on the relationship between natural systems, infrastructure and urban transformation. Vegetation, water and soil play a central role in its approach, which treats landscape as an active framework capable of bringing together ecological processes, urban uses and long-term change.
Among its most significant projects are the landscapes and Green Belt for Expo Milano 2015, the Parco della Pace in Vicenza, the landscape integration of the Trento Sud wastewater treatment plant, and the restoration of the coastal and dune system at Castellaneta Marina.
PAN Associati has received a number of national and international awards. The Parco della Pace in Vicenza received the City’Scape Award in 2023, second prize at the Green Cities Europe Award in 2024, the LILA Jury Award in 2025, and first prize at the European Garden Awards in 2026, in the category for climate adaptation measures in parks and gardens.
