In 1989 he founded dMPU with Sergio de Miguel and Jesús Ulargui Agurruza. Since 1999, he has directed UP architects together with Jesús Ulargui Agurruza. Finally, in 2013 he founded PyA (Pesquera y Asociados arquitectos) with Mercedes Diez.
