SO Arquitetura & Design is an architecture studio founded by Bruno Furtado and Gonçalo Blétière Lopes in 2014, based in Lagoa, Portugal. After gaining academic and professional experience in vibrant urban centers, the architects believe that, thanks to technology, it is now possible to live in a paradisiacal location while continuing to develop projects that connect us with the rest of the world. They seek to foster and develop partnerships and shared projects with architects beyond the borders of the Canary Islands, as these not only keep them up-to-date with global trends and innovation but also challenge their creativity. It is a balance they strive for without losing focus on developing local projects that value places from a social and environmental perspective.
