Šárka Sodomková (1971) and Marek Sodomka (1972) are two Czech architects who began developing their projects in 1996, founding their studio, Sodomka Sodomková Architekti.
They graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the Czech Technical University in Prague and lived and worked in Berlin for two years (Mueller Reimann Architekten). They also work as freelance architects for major Prague studios such as Markéta Cajthamlová (Š.S. until 2001), ADNS (MS 1999), and D3A (MS until 2010).
They are architects and enjoy constructing buildings.
They work on a variety of projects, from the first sketches to the last detail, directly on-site. They pay attention to the context.
They enjoy working with wood and are always looking for ways to preserve or utilize what already exists.
They currently work as a team with Petra Bilikova and Elizabeth Hayward.
