Álvaro Soler Arpa. Born in Gerona in 1974, he graduated in Drawing from the School of Arts and Crafts in Olot and in Illustration from the Llotja School in Barcelona. Specializing for over 15 years in advertising and film, he has drawn shooting boards for directors such as Alejandro González Iñárritu (Beautiful, 2010) and Woody Allen (Vicky Cristina Barcelona, 2008). From 2005 onwards, he began developing work related to the visual arts, and thanks to his knowledge of anatomy, he started creating sculptures and installations. In 2014, he was named an ambassador for the Plastic Pollution Coalition, and in 2015, he was elected a member of the Royal British Society of Sculptors. He has exhibited in various cities in Spain and at the Bart Gallery in Cologne, Germany.
