Founded in 2016 by Mark Shaw, Studioshaw is a London-based architecture firm—certified as a B Corp—that specializes in the development of complex projects. The firm is steadily growing and currently comprises a multinational team of nine people.
The practice focuses on sustainability and the reduction of energy consumption, guided by a core principle they call "RE:LOW." This philosophy shapes all their projects, emphasizing the reuse, recycling, and restoration of elements to create buildings that feature low technological complexity, minimal environmental impact, and low maintenance requirements. Through this approach, Studioshaw aims to minimize the environmental footprint of its interventions.
