XTOPIX architekti was founded in 2011 by Pavel and Barbora Buryška. Their practice is based on the conviction that architecture should integrate the built environment, public space, art, and design—values they strive to cultivate in all their projects. XTOPIX undertakes a wide range of commissions, spanning various scales: from housing renovations and the transformation of abandoned sites into cultural spaces, to the design of new educational buildings such as schools and kindergartens, as well as large-scale urban planning and the revitalization of historic squares and public spaces within heritage areas.
The studio adopts a contextual approach based on local knowledge, relationships, and the unique history of each site. Creative dialogue, both with the site and with their collaborators, is the foundation of their process. With a steadfast commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration, XTOPIX actively engages with renowned artists, architects, and cultural institutions.
Currently, XTOPIX architekti consists of a team of ten architects and construction engineers.
