«The Foundation» es la sexta canción del álbum “Concrete and glass” del músico francés Nicolas Godin, antiguo integrante de la banda Air, en colaboración con Cola Boyy, encargado de la voz en este adelanto.
El videoclip que acompaña al tema del segundo álbum en solitario del músico electrónico es dirigido por Greg Barnes y se ambienta en un escenario volátil con arquitectura industrial propia de siglos recientes, que nos sitúa en una época no muy lejana.

El vídeo de la canción The Foundation, del músico francés y cofundador del grupo Air, Nicolas Godin, en colaboración con Cola Boyy provoca una imagen de ciencia ficción en la que narra visualmente un posible futuro.
"Las hojas caen en nuestro último invierno" es con el mensaje que empieza el videoclip, nos sitúa en un ambiente austero donde el mundo ya no es como lo conocemos, y continua.- "Nuestras últimas esperanzas están en un solo cadete", que será la protagonista de esta historia.
La joven astronauta, acompañada de su instructor, entrenará sin descanso para conseguir una transmisión de audio que les mostrará la clave para encontrar un nuevo mundo y salvar a la especie humana.
