"The Foundation" is the sixth song on the album "Concrete and glass" by French musician Nicolas Godin, a former member of the band Air, in collaboration with Cola Boyy, who provides the vocals on this preview.

The video clip that accompanies the track from the electronic musician's second solo album is directed by Greg Barnes and is set in a volatile scenario with industrial architecture typical of recent centuries, which places us in a not-too-distant era.
The video for the song The Foundation, by French musician and co-founder of the band Air, Nicolas Godin, in collaboration with Cola Boyy, provokes a sci-fi image in which he visually narrates a possible future.

"Leaves fall in our final winter" is the message that begins the video clip, it places us in an austere environment where the world is no longer as we know it, and continues: "Our final hopes lies with a single cadet", who will be the protagonist of this story.

The young astronaut, accompanied by her instructor, will train relentlessly to pursue an audio transmission that will show them the key to finding a new world and saving the human species.

Lyrics.-
The generations we hear them crack beneath
The soles of their shoes they can't help from jumping in
Head first you're falling
you've never felt so free
Until we let go then there's nothing intimate

Our salvation could be within arms reach
But this foundation is our worst enemy

Unexpected responsibility
Of building a roof right over your lovers head
But if there's no means of making my family eat
Then I'll find me a place where.. where I can move my feet

Our salvation could be within arms reach
But this foundation is our worst enemy

The foundation is our salvation

Stretch your arms touch the ceiling
And lay the bricks
Now you feel it
