abp architetti was founded in 2018 in Florence from the ongoing collaboration of three architects: Alberto Becherini, Piera Bongiorni, and Andrea Borghi.

Directed by Alberto Becherini and Piera Bongiorni, the studio develops its research on landscape, public space, and community-oriented architecture through professional practice. Its work focuses on mending urban fractures, reconnecting fragmented parts of the city, and transforming urban voids and unresolved spaces into the foundation of urban strategies, serving as the starting point for envisioning the city of the future. The studio aims to recreate spatial, perceptual, and social continuity between the historic city, its peripheral areas, and the surrounding landscape.
