ADEMÁS Arquitectura, an architecture studio that began to take shape in 2007 in the workshops of FADY in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is led by Leandro Gallo and Florencia Speroni. Their spirit has always been, and continues to be, that of a collaborative work group. They are interested in continuous learning and the search for both theoretical and practical solutions, and they drive the exploration and reformulation of typology as well as the research and proposal of materials in the resolution of architectural projects.
Leandro Gallo graduated as an architect from FADY UBA in 2008. He participated in an international workshop for architecture students at the University of Los Andes, Colombia (2006), and completed an internship at EVPP (2007). He is a founding partner of ADEMÁS Arquitectura (2009-present). Lecturer in TA, Roca-Sardin Chair (2010-2012). Postgraduate course in Sustainable Design, UP (2010). Regional delegate, Hipo-Tesis magazine, Madrid (2010-2011). Experience working with protected areas, Coris, Cartago, Costa Rica (2015). Master's degree in progress, DiCom (thesis pending), FADU UBA. Florencia Fernández Speroni has been an architect since FADU UBA since 2013. Partner at También Arquitectura (2012-present). Lecturer in Architecture 1, Solsona Ledesma Chair (2014-2020). Development of the "Material Experimentation" workshop at FADU (2018). Honorable Mention, “Best Academic Exercise, 50 Houses,” XVII Buenos Aires Architecture Biennial (2019).
