He is the founder of cruz.atelier, a practice that integrates self-building, architectural design, research, and dissemination, exploring material tradition, landscape, and collective memory through a contemporary lens.

His work has been recognized at the 15th Spanish Architecture and Urbanism Biennial (BEAU), the Venice Architecture Biennale, and Europan, as well as with awards such as ASCER, Casa de la Arquitectura, and COAM. His projects have been exhibited and published in Madrid, Milan, London, Glasgow, and Kunshan, and are characterized by a commitment to sensitive, contextual, low-impact architecture.

Paula Moraga holds a degree in Architecture from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid (2026), having complemented her training with an academic stay at the Politecnico di Milano. Her emerging career stands out for its academic excellence and firm commitment, combining her development with collaborations at prestigious national studios such as that of Héctor Fernández Elorza and the Catalan firm H Arquitectes. Her analytical and critical approach is reflected in her final degree project, titled Critical Hong Kong, a study that examines, from an operational perspective, the urban complexities, the challenges of high density, and the socio-spatial issues facing the contemporary metropolis. Her work has been recognized by the Pladur Awards, the Cátedra Blanca, and at various editions of festivals such as Concéntrico and Mugak. Her strong trajectory has led to her being awarded the prestigious Fundación Arquia Grant, one of the most important national distinctions for emerging young talent.

Their professional collaboration at +.atelier grows out of a shared interest in architecture as a situated practice — one that operates from temporality and the essential. Both have developed their work across academic and professional settings, combining research and design to critically address the relationships between culture, climate, and territory.
