Atelier Aconcept

Atelier Aconcept is an architectural firm founded in 2001, based in Évry-Courcouronnes, Paris, France, and led by Frédéric Quevillona and Aurélien Tessier. During its first 15 years, Atelier Aconcept has refined its methods, relying on its good humor to foster the creativity of its multidisciplinary team. Thirty collaborators with complementary backgrounds (architects, urban planners, economists, graphic designers) compare their experiences with an open, compartmentalized approach and the emergence of innovative urban projects. What do they have in common? A focus on the latest trends and constant questioning, especially through mastery of new technologies such as BIM.

The firm has worked on projects involving collective housing, public facilities, urban planning, and renovation, standing out for its comprehensive approach that ranges from territorial analysis to architectural execution. Its projects include the master plan for the Noyer Renard urban development zone in Athis-Mons, the redevelopment of the La Croix Blanche neighborhood center in Vigneux-sur-Seine, and the eco-neighborhood project for the Gratte-Ciel Nord urban development zone in Villeurbanne. Atelier Aconcept also actively participates in public competitions and collaborates with developers, local institutions, and specialized technical offices.

In 2019, the studio received the Prix National Arturbain for its work on the reconfiguration of the Ris-Orangis urban center, a recognition awarded by the Ministry of Ecological Transition and the SEPAD association, France.
