Bilge Kalfa is a Berlin-based architect, adjunct professor at the International University of Berlin, and founder of Bilge Kalfa Architecture. With an emphasis on natural and cyclical materials, her experience spans all phases of architectural and interior design, including furniture design. A graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at Istanbul Technical University with a bachelor's and master's degree, she is also co-owner of The Keep, a handcrafted carpet company.
In 2010, she received a national architecture award for the collective project imkanmekan. She has completed numerous projects in Istanbul and Berlin, including the renowned Moda Sahnesi and the Boğaziçi University Theater Hall, together with her former partner. Her approach seeks to honor the interconnection between life and the environment as much as possible.
