Gonzalo Carro Lopez is a town planner architect, project manager and site supervisor. He is a partner of IDOM and ACXT with over 11 years experience. He won the competitions for the construction of the Headquarter Building for the Science Park of the UPV/EHU in Leioa, the Community Centre of Salburua in Vitoria, the General Services Building of the Cruces Hospital and the Euskadi National Archives in Bilbao. His finished works have also been acknowledged with, amongst others, the following awards: “Archdaily Building of the Year 2009”, “Building of the Year Plataforma Arquitectura 2009”, “First Prize Lamp Light Solution 2010”, “Honourable Mention in the Architecture Biennale of Sao Paulo” and “Honourable Mention in the AR Awards 2009”. Other works are also worth mentioning, such as the BTEK – Technology Interpretation Centre, the GOAZ Museum or the District Heating of Bolueta or Zorrozaurre.
