Corrigan Arquitectos
Corrigan Arquitectos is an architecture studio based in Madrid, Spain, founded in 2013 by Macarena Carrascosa and Adrián López. They develop a practice that departs from conventional models, undertaking both new construction and renovation projects.
Their projects focus on environmental conditions as the starting point for design, exploring how light, materials, and transparency can generate new ways of living, blurring the boundaries between interior and exterior, architecture and landscape.
Their work has been exhibited at the Venice Architecture Biennale, the Shenzhen Biennale of Urbanism and Architecture, and CentroCentro Madrid.
They received First Prize in the 2015 COAM Competition for Urban Microsurgery (Móstoles), and an Honorable Mention in the ReThinking Competitions for their proposal Balance (Norway).
Their work has been published in books and magazines such as 27 Snacks and 8 Snack Papers, Madrid ¿IM? Posible, La Arquitectura es Inevitable, Madrid Centro: El espacio-ciudad en la metrópoli velada, and Work Book Activities, among others.
