CROX is an architecture studio based in Shanghai, China, under the direction of C.R. Lin and Bentao Li. They are based on creating a dialogue between people and space to achieve a state of balance in all design projects. They combine eastern humanistic values with avant-garde-naturalism design philosophy.
With their projects of metropolis plan, city landscape, interior decoration, exhibition design and stage creation they have managed to be recognized and obtain a series of awards such as the TID Award commercial space award in 2009, the Modern Decoration International Media Award of annual elite designer in 2012, the Andrew Martin International Interior Design Award in 2013 and the Italy A'design Award in 2014.
C.R. Lin is an architect, born in Taipei, graduated from Chung-Hua University in Taiwan and completed a Master in Urban Management and City Design, at Domus Academy, Milano, Italy. He is the director of the CROX architectural firm.
He has specialized in urban landscape planning, architecture, interior design and the art exhibition. C.R.Lin has a deep understanding and keen observation of Eastern and Western culture, using the architecture and space of avant-garde naturalism to spread the contemporary value of humanity.
Bentao Li is a designer, born in China, majored in Environment Art Design of the China University of Mining and Technology. He is the partner of CROX architectural firm.
His work focuses on studying the functional demands of interior space and adapting design to changing shapes and materials. The types of design have involved clubs, restaurants, residences, offices and trade shows.
