Gabriel Gallegos Alonso graduated from the School of Architecture of the University of Valladolid in 2009.
From 2009 to the present he has been working as a collaborating architect with Gabriel Gallegos Borges on projects such as the Cultural Centre of Simancas, the Cultural Centre of Carbajosa de la Sagrada, the Outpatients' Building of the Hospital Clínico Universitario de Valladolid, as well as several health centers in the region.
His first contact with architectural photography was at his place of work, where photographs by Ricardo González of the first works developed by the studio were exhibited. Subsequently, he came into contact with several photographers and architects such as Pedro I. Ramos, Lutton Gana, and Sonia Volpini with whom he decided to start in the world of photography.
In 2017 he took the Professional Photography Course at the EFTI School in Madrid. One of the photographs from the collection of the final project won him the First Prize in the 5th Edition of the "Holy Shot" Photography Contest, by Hitachi, in the architecture category.
Since then he has continued his training as a photographer, making reports of the built work of Gabriel Gallegos Borges, as well as carrying out the photographic monitoring of the projects developed by the studio.
In 2018 he participated in the 12th edition of PechaKucha Night Valladolid, addressing the theme of Urbex.
In 2019 he collaborated in the development of a charity calendar produced by the collective "Patio de Sombras", aimed at animation in children's hospitals.
In 2021 he began his professional activity as a photographer of architecture and interior design, creating a personal brand and website, and carrying out reports for individuals and companies.
In 2022 the magazine "Conarquitectura" published the photographic report of the Health Centre in Bembibre, León, a project in which I also participated as a collaborating architect.
