Jakub Kolarovič Architects is a studio founded in Bratislava by Jakub Kolarovič in 2012.
Jakub Kolarovič was born in Bratislava in 1985. After graduating with a bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Architecture, STU in Bratislava, he worked for the KN Design studio in Perth, Australia, where he deepened his education at TAFE International University. After completing his engineering studies at FASTU in Bratislava, he worked for the Vallo Sadovský Architects studio. Until he founded his own practice Jakub Kolarovič Architects in 2012.
Their work is grounded in the belief that architecture has the ability to cultivate everyday life—not through extravagant gestures, but through meaningful interventions rooted in context, needs, and a trust in honest craftsmanship.
They engage in residential and public architecture, exhibition spaces, recreational structures, and the restoration of historical buildings. Each project is approached as an opportunity to create a lasting and intelligible space — free of superfluous aesthetics, with a focus on proportion, material, and detail.
