Alejandra Navarrete Llopis is an architect based in Stockholm, and founder of Nami Studio. Her research work focuses on the spatial implications of the mechanisms of inclusion and exclusion in contemporary cities. Navarrete's projects have obtained different awards, including the FAD Prize for Thought and Criticism, and have received support from several European and USA institutions, such as the New York State Council on the Arts or the Graham Foundation. Together with the After Belonging Agency, she was the chief curator of the Oslo Architecture Triennale 2016, which discusses how architecture participates in the construction of new identities for a displaced and globalized population. He currently teaches at the Royal Institute of Technology KTH, and has previously taught seminars and studies at Columbia University, Pratt Institute, Blekinge Institute of Technology BTH, New Jersey Institute of Technology, University of Virginia and the Polytechnic University of Madrid ETSAM.
