Quim Olea estudi d'arquitectura, is an architecture studio founded by Joaquim (Quim) Olea Fernández, a native of Canovelles and an architect trained at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC). Based in Girona, the studio was founded in the aftermath of the pandemic (2020), and designs homes, renovations, and small commercial spaces.
Their work combines a sensitivity to materials and built history. Their projects demonstrate a focus on establishing a dialogue between existing structures and functional continuity.
Quim was a co-author of the winning EUROPAN 17 project for Waalwijk, "About Belts and Hats," an award that has led to international urban commissions.
