PichiAvo

PichiAvo is an art studio founded in 2007 by Juan Antonio Sánchez (1977) and Álvaro Hernández (1985), based in Valencia, Spain. They are known for their unique fusion of classical art and graffiti. Their work encompasses painting, sculpture, and large-scale public installations, uniting ancient mythology with contemporary urban expression.

The artists met in the Valencian graffiti scene and formed the duo, developing a collaborative language that flows naturally between the street and the studio. Since their international debut at the North West Walls Festival in Belgium in 2015, they have undertaken significant projects worldwide, including commissions at Wynwood Walls in Miami, Hard Rock Stadium, and the Houston-Bowery Wall in New York, where they became the first European artists invited to paint the space. His work ranges from monumental public interventions—such as a 26-meter sculpture for the Fallas of Valencia—to international exhibitions and collaborations, including projects developed for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. That same year, they published Our Odyssey, their first anthology that traces their artistic career and their characteristic visual language.
