PLURIEL[LES] ARCHITECTES
PLURIEL[LES] ARCHITECTES was founded in Paris in 2016 by architects Marcela Garin and Caroline Lattwein. Centered around these two founding partners, the practice has grown by incorporating diverse profiles and areas of expertise, establishing itself today as a collaborative and committed team.
They offer an architecture that is generous and respectful; their projects are meticulously designed, placing the user and the resident at the heart of the architectural process. They also place a strong emphasis on ecology: the selection of appropriate construction methods and the use of low-environmental-impact materials form the DNA of their daily practice.
The practice addresses a variety of project types through a precise, contextual approach that is constantly evolving. Each project engages with the qualities of its site—its light, materials, and atmosphere. Eschewing pre-established formulas, they champion an architecture that is rigorous, sensitive, and creative, highlighting the unique identity and originality of every project.
Interventions involving existing heritage sites also follow the narrative thread of each location's history—often a rich history offering the opportunity for contemporary reinterpretation—as a way to better reveal what already exists.
