The architecture firm was founded in Winnenden, Germany, in 1989 by Dieter Rommel. After 30 years, it has operated as Rommel, Wagenpfeil Architekten Partnerschaft mbB since 2019 and is led by the three partners: Dieter Rommel, Sebastian Rommel, and Nicolas Wagenpfeil.
