Schipper Bosch

Schipper Bosch is a Dutch real estate development and placemaking company founded in 1989 by Michel Schoonderbeek. Based in Amersfoort, the company focuses on transforming buildings, industrial sites, and urban environments through a combination of architecture, sustainability, adaptive reuse, and long-term management. Schoonderbeek, born in Leusden, the Netherlands, in 1953, came from a family with several generations of experience in the construction industry. After becoming independent from the family business, he established Schipper Bosch with the ambition of creating distinctive, durable, and valuable places. In 2008, he transferred the management of the company to his sons, Bart and Floris Schoonderbeek, who continued to expand its vision. Notable projects include De Nieuwe Stad in Amersfoort and Cleantech Park Arnhem. Schipper Bosch is known for revitalizing existing heritage, supporting creative communities, and combining economic development, architectural quality, and environmental responsibility in projects designed to evolve sustainably over time.
