Shotaro Oshima Design Studio
Shotaro Oshima Design Studio was founded by Shotaro Oshima in 2021. Shotaro Oshima studied architecture and interior design at Tama Art University in Tokyo and Glasgow School of Art, Scotland and worked for Jamie Fobert Architects in London. He is currently the founder of the Sozai Centre and a professor at Tama Art University.
Shotaro was responsible for the design and concept development of the National Portrait Gallery, London, the high-end retail project in Paris and a new-build housing project across Europe.
With 7 years of studying and working experience in the UK, He dedicates himself to responding to historical contexts, creating delicate and phenomenal spatial experiences with Japanese sophistication.
